For Serious.
I really wish I hadn't actually heard a co-worker say this. She defended the practice by saying: "I'm trying to separate the wheat from the chaff." Then she went into discussion of how she didn't try to meet men at bars and she would most likely, if she were a guy, approach a girl at an art museum. "If a guy said: 'This piece is very post-modern, with burried elements of the baroque.' I would be like: 'Yes, it is very post-modern.'" Who lives in this reality?
She then went off on my co-worker, telling the 27 year old man who does extremely well with the ladies (I've seen him pick up random girls on the metro, and get numbers while at dinner with completely different people) that he needed to meet a nice girl and then tell her he would wait until marriage with her. He told her: "I can't even say that to you with a straight face."
