I was always told that this one restaurant was a cute indie place to take cute indie girls on dates. My fear was, having never been, I would get there and they would serve stuff that was completely alien to me. Not that trying new things is bad, but I didn't want to make a faux-pas in eating it, or make a face if I found it incredibly bitter or something. I finally ended up going there for breakfast with Evan during my last visit to town. I had an omlette.
This is a slightly older strip that I didn't retouch. Generally when I run older strips (older meaning... uh, 2003 in this case) I do some extra linework. I make certain outlines stand out more, add some black areas, etc. So... this is what my comics looked like two (2) years ago. New comic for real tomorrow, I promise.
Also, does anybody else find the CNN.com "Watch" feature as creepy as I do? The subject of the steaming video half the time gets a terrible title that makes me not want to watch it at all. It's always, like: Watch : Families Lose Everything __ Storm Kills Infants ...um, YOU can watch that. I'll pass.
Oh, and it looks like Scary-go-Round supports Death of a Party... I wonder if they would also support Death of THE Party...
