Man, Evan's Blog Today reads just like the tragicomedy that is Starting Point. And by blog, I guess I mean life. Only Evan.

Yeah... so this is the only comic in this style I ever drew. It's a complete non-sequiter when viewed in conjunction with the rest of the series. You just see this kind of thing too often in sitcoms and stuff (Step-by-Step Intro, I'm looking at you) where the guy gives the sibling his extra scoop when his/her only scoop falls on the ground. This strip was apparently the only comic that made my friend Yannos actually laugh out loud, so that's praise enough for me, considering I wrote comics about that kid in HS. So since the art is so plain, I decided it would be neat if I colored this strip all Machall-y, and spent a half hour doing that before I realized that the joke wouldn't work if the ice cream were colored. You would totally be able to tell what it wasn't the right scoop. So I scratched that. Then as I typed this I realized that I could have made both scoops the same color (flavor.) Oh well, that's what I get for being an idiot.
Also, I'm glad Fischer's page is up and running again.
