This strip is from a year ago, and since then I've changed Lily's hair. I don't really know which look I like better, and her hair will probably change again relatively soon. I like switching the girls' hair. It keeps things feeling like they are moving forward, if that makes sense. I don't change the boys' hair. You can tell because Erik still has a goatee from 2000 when every kid had one.
So this strip is from college, and the biggest switch for this one since then is that unfortunately now I am the roommate who leaves the dirty dishes in the sink for a day or three. Granted, they don't stay there for weeks or pile up nearly to the same extent, or sit there with cooked meat on the pan for days at a time.
