It is absolutely true that in my mind the old "Ducktales" cartoons I watched were extremely well-crafted stories of adventure and intrigue, often with unique, inventive cultural or historical bents that I found quite alluring. If not equal in artistic expression to, say, the works of Jean Renoir then at least they found there bretheren amongst the Indiana Jones Trilogy. Who knows, though? I used to think the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" theme song was awesome. Heard that later on (thanks Old, Free Napster!). It sucked ass.
